Introduction
  Economic development has brought about technological reforms in various industries as well as change in the structure of transport.  In the harbor business as well, great strides have been made in customs services and cargo handling work for imported and exported cargo due to modernized facilities. 
  Since its establishment in 1955, Keihin Koun Co., Ltd. has carried out harbor transport business based on the motto of having a consistent transport system.  In order to respond to rapid economic development and globalization in the future, our goal is the establishment of a consistent logistics system.

History

April 1955 Established for purposes of US military cargo handling machinery maintenance.
5 million yen in capital. Established headquarters in Mutsuura-cho, Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama-shi. Moved headquarters to Choja-shi, Naka-ku, Yokohama-shi in the same month.

Registered for types 1, 2, and 4 of the harbor transport business at Keihin Port Obtained license for the customs service (limited).
Began coast cargo handling aboard American ships
